I figured out a new way of assessing my progress: looking at the drawing through my phone camera. It's clear which proportions are off. Welp, here's my drawing from last night and today:
Haha looks like a paint by number. Now I see why Jamie said an oil artist needs to spend as much time mixing as painting. Colors gotta match!
