I finally figured out most of the parts to this picture. Photo credit, Getty Images. Kids and young adults painted on this all day. It was covered in dark blue and I had to save the whole thing before closing the gallery at 5:00pm. While I was erasing and adding, I was realizing that all the people were actually showing me how to see. One tiger of a painter was seeing horizontal texture on the nose and light blue on the left shoulder. A younger girl that liked Elsa was adding turquoise to the back. Most people liked white on the cheeks. Anyway, I put that all in!
Here are all the times I tried, but didn’t get an accurate depiction of what I saw. It was a difficult photo to figure out. I even taught this painting to ten people at a paint party before I could really get it myself a month later.
Here is my 5th day of trying, where I “ruined it” and had to put it aside to dry. I achieved the black, but used too much paint.
4th day of trying. I’m trying to make black with red and green. I am adding purple and trying to get the eyes green.
3rd attempt. I like the hair, but not the eyes. I went a little crazy with the hair, though.
I think I’m finished, but it’s not realistic, and that nags on me enough for me to redo it five times.
