I started three yesterday. The first two are commissions and the third is for my upcoming show.
My favorite redeeming quality about oil painting is that you can keep trying until you feel a “click” and for a second, what you’re painting in the moment is blurred with the image you’re looking at. It feels like time is standing still and you’re warping the universe.
